Sognando
Don Backy
Dreaming
I sit there, absent, with a hat on my forehead
and strange things passing through my mind
I feel like shouting, but I don't understand the purpose
then suddenly I cry a little and laugh as if it were a game
If I hear voices, I don't respond / I live in a strange world
Where there are few problems / Where people have no patterns
I have no future, nor present, and I live now eternally
my past is now distant to me
but I have everything I need, not even the sea in its chest
has those things that I dream of, and I don't understand why I cry
I don't know what love is / And I don't know what a heartbeat is
for me, a woman represents / Someone who takes care of me and supports me
But sometimes I feel that, the black claws of the night
make me do actions, not accurate
suddenly I hear that voice, and here my cross begins
I would like to forget and remember, my mind is about to explode
And I break everything I find / And then I try to finish it
For me there is no hope / To ever leave this room
On a creaky little bed, in this hallucinatory place
I often try to fly, in the sky
I don't know what harm I can do, if I just try to fly
I don't understand my guardians, why they tie my hands
And at all costs they want me to / Wear a gown for me
I push my arms back hard / And at this point I always cry
My God, what a great confusion, and what a magnificent vision
a clear shadow crosses my mind
I bite my hands hard now and for a moment I remember
that once maybe not long ago, someone told me: 'I love you'
In a farewell the voice vanished / A peace descended into the soul
And that's how from that day / I am sitting still here
