You wouldn’t have left us now
It’s painful
Every samba cries
Why did you leave us so soon?
You were
With steady steps, a straight line
One of the finest poets
Pride of a songwriter
And now
You’ve got your home up in the sky
Making music with Noel
You went to meet the Creator
You’re gone
And to the whole world you said
Goodbye
It’s sad but it’s just another bamba
That the samba world
