The dream I had last night
Was the example of love
I dreamed that on the deserted beach
I walked with Our Lord

Along the deserted beach
The Lord wanted to show me
Scenes forgotten by me
Of everything I did in this life

Scenes of happy hours
When the table was full at dinner time
Where I had passed by
There were two pairs of footprints in the sand
Then the Lord spoke to me
In his beautiful past moments
To guide your steps
I walked by your side

But my lack of faith
Had to appear
When the scenes passed by
Of the saddest hours of my whole being

Then I complained to the Lord
Only his footprint remained
When I needed the most
When I suffered and cried
The Lord abandoned me

In that sacred moment
He embraced me saying
I wore the crown of thorns
I died on a cross and you doubted me
