Rastros Na Areia
Duduca & Dalvan
Footprints in the Sand
The dream I had last night
Was a perfect example of love
I dreamed I was on a deserted beach
Walking with our Lord above
Along that empty shoreline
The Lord wanted me to see
Scenes I had forgotten
Of all I’ve done in this life of mine
He made me remember
Scenes of happy hours
When the table was full at dinner time
Wherever I had been
Two sets of footprints were left in the sand
Then the Lord spoke to me
In those beautiful moments gone by
To guide your steps
I walked right by His side
But my lack of faith
Had to show its face
When the scenes passed by
Of the saddest times in my whole being
So I complained to the Lord
Only His footprints remained
When I needed Him most
When I was suffering and crying
The Lord had left me behind
In that sacred moment
When He embraced me saying this
I wore the crown of thorns
Died on a cross, and you doubt me still
Son, those footprints are mine
Listen to what I have to say
In your times of anguish
I carried you all the way!
