Las Acacias
Dueto de Antaño
The Acacias
Nobody lives there anymore
And on the side of the road, silent, is the house
It seems that its doors have closed forever
Their windows were closed forever
The wind moans in the eaves
The walls crumbled
And at their gates they nod
Fighting against the wind, the acacias
The acacias were fought by the wind
Sore, tired from this journey of life
I have passed through the doors of the room
And the acacias told me a story
Everything has died, the joy and the bustle
Those who were the joy and warmth of that house
Some left dead and others alive
That their soul was dead
They left this house forever
