El Nuevo Calor

The New Heat
The green carries the blue,
the wind blows hard in the south,
tie the sails, we're leaving
whenever you want.
Shining against the light,
summer scent in the south,
looking for stars to guide us
wherever you want.
And soon you'll see
that the sky isn't so gray,
that after the rain will come
angels for you,
they don't swim, but they fly.
Clouds inside me,
smell of mint and charcoal,
idle hours waiting
for the new heat.
And soon you'll see
that the sky isn't so gray,
that after the rain will come
angels for you,
they don't swim, but they fly,
they don't fly
