Entre Salitre Y Sudor
Duncan Dhu
Between Salt and Sweat
San Juan morning
the rain that wants us ill
the sun has already appeared behind the mouse.
Boats to the sea
city bells ringing
the wind in our favor
it's time to go.
And the old folks sadly recount
that in the sea
there were a thousand whales, now just dozens
and God will say...
Whales to port
ready rope and harpoon
no doubt there will be a loser today.
The hunt is over
between salt and sweat
the sky fell silent
the rain left us.
