Once Moses climbed Mount Sinai

He heard the voice of the Lord
And it said to him:
I am the Lord, your God
You shall have no other gods before me

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai
He saw the people dancing around the golden calf
He was furious. In his rage, he smashed the tablets of God

I am your God, you beloved people, love me
I am your God, you beloved people

The first commandment:
I am the Lord, your God
You shall have no other gods before me

The second commandment:
You shall not misuse the name of the Lord, your God,
For the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless
Who misuses His name

The third commandment:
You shall keep the Sabbath holy

The fourth commandment:
Honor your father and your mother
So that it may go well with you
And you may live long in the land

The fifth commandment:
You shall not kill

The sixth commandment:
You shall not commit adultery

The seventh commandment:
You shall not steal

The eighth commandment:
You shall not bear false witness against
Your neighbor

The ninth commandment:
You shall not covet your neighbor's house
Or anything that belongs to him

The tenth commandment:
You shall not covet your neighbor's wife
Servant, maid, cattle, or
Anything that belongs to him

I, the Lord, your God, am a jealous God,
Punishing the children for the sin of the parents
To the third and fourth generation
Of those who hate me
But showing love to a thousand generations
Of those who love me and keep my commandments
