El Faro

The Lighthouse
You draw my silhouette in profile on glass,
And you look north with more desire than I wish to look,
My hands drawing you in the place where you can't be,
It's becoming a job to put land and miss you a little more than usual,
The river is growing and overflowing from the flow.
Inertia is dragging you very quickly until the day ends,
You try without success to make the day shorter in solitude,
I write and try to organize my dreams and my life from here,
Looking for a way to bring it closer to yours a little more each time,
It's difficult to do more than one thing without thinking.
Lose your fears and turn snakes into butterflies,
After the storm there will be calm,
Don't hesitate to always sail against the current,
Come back strong, if you don't lose the lighthouse at the end,
Never leave loose ends.
You think and wish to continue your life in this way,
Knowing that this story will have to repeat itself endlessly,
I pray that you want and I want you not to get tired,
Sometimes your soul has to hurt so you can finally realize,
That there is life in your depths and you can't deny it, oh, oh, oh.
My fairies provoke you in your mind all this restlessness,
So you don't take me out of your life and you can't avoid me,
Your angels take care of me all the time from any storm,
And clear my path of the stones that could make you stumble,
It's not necessary to remember, you can't forget, oh, oh, oh.
Lose your fears and turn snakes into butterflies,
After the storm there will be calm,
Don't hesitate to always sail against the current,
Come back strong, if you don't lose the lighthouse at the end,
Never leave loose ends, never leave a war without fighting.
Therefore, lose your fears and turn snakes into butterflies,
After the storm there will be calm,
Don't hesitate to always sail against the current,
Come back strong, if you don't lose the lighthouse at the end,
Never leave loose ends, never leave a war without fighting.
