Esas ganas de llorar
Edgar Oceransky
Those Urges to Cry
How different a city seems to me
Cold and loveless when I wake up
The meetings are over and the colored lights are gone
All that's left is clothes to pack
And wait for the bus to leave
To take you back home again
Twelve hours on the road to endure
'Cause I couldn't afford the plane fare
Remembering the craziness, the excesses, the rush
And the people you could find
You realized you’re just ordinary
Their experiences linger in your eyes
The new friends who lift me up
And understand my unhappiness
When I give my life to sing
And those urges to cry that hit me when it’s done
Are the same urges felt when people leave
And I’m left alone in a place
And those urges to cry that hit me when it’s done
Turn around, transform when I see that people hear me
And die of happiness.
The new friends who lift me up
And understand my unhappiness
When I give my life to sing
And those urges to cry that hit me when it’s done
Are the same urges felt when people leave
And I’m left alone in a place
And those urges to cry that hit me when it’s done
Turn around, transform when I see that people hear me
And die of happiness.
How different my city seems to me
Cold and loveless it will be to return
But I live with the freedom
To give my life to sing
If I give my life to sing...
