As Promessas do Bom Pastor

I will go out through the meadows seeking
Sheep that are without a shepherd
I will bring them back with care
Without hunger or fear

On my shoulders, wounded sheep
Without pain will be able to rest
I will restore their fields
I will give peace again

I am king, I am the good shepherd
Come to the banquet I have prepared for you
And you will never be hungry
To whom shall we go, O Lord?
Only You have the word of life
And give yourself as food

Bad shepherds who lose sheep
Far from me I will have them
In other safe pastures
I will call faithful shepherds

A new kingdom I will make of my people
A flock without oppression
All will be led
To life by my hands

If a sheep leaves my field
And follows another path
I leave the flock safe
And go in search of the unhappy one

Upon bringing it back, there will be joy
And the angels of heaven will sing
It will be the feast of return
The flock will rejoice
