Pucherito de Gallina
Edmundo Rivero
Chicken Pout
At twenty years old I came to the center,
My debut was in currents and maipú;
Armed with playful and windy men,
There I wanted to burn my youth...
There I learned what it is to be a skull,
They taught me that you should never fail.
I made a mixed and sentimental life
And among other things, I liked to sing.
Cabaret... "stumble"...,
It was the eternal routine.
Chicken stew, with old carlón wine.
Cabaret... Metejón...
A love in every corner;
Some wait for the mine
To drink the chocolate;
Other invoices with mate
Or the cut for the convoy.
I sang in the old varieté at goal park,
And in the dancings of the bass leandro alem;
Where "bad girls from good homes" arrived,
With those other "good girls from bad homes"...
At twenty years old I came to the center;
My debut was in currents and maipú.
Today the years have passed and I can't find,
Heat of home, family and youth.
