It was there on the cross that my Jesus, gave His life to bring me light
His love was so immense, it overcame my suffering
He suffered in silence, asked for nothing, and my life then smiled

Christ counts on me now, to speak, to speak of His love
To bring joy to someone who cries

There are many people carrying the cross, but they're far from good Jesus
Living without peace and without love, because they're far from the Savior
