Figuras Y Fusiones

Figures and Fusions
The sun wakes up and you’re right there,
when I open my eyes, I know it was all real.
I breathe to the rhythm of your dreams, I know time's not in charge,
a piece of paper with ink holds all the truth.
A here and a now, just two people,
trying to freeze the movements,
a place and a time,
editing a portrait made to be polarized.
We photograph a second we agreed to remember,
a flash of intensity, reflecting our bodies,
and we reveal in a dark room our illusions,
to frame the shadows of figures and fusions.
We find ourselves on a bed of emotions,
after creating another bond between us.
You wake up and see your reflection in my gaze,
there are no words that understand, they’re not needed here.
A here and a now, just two people,
trying to freeze the movements,
a place and a time,
editing a portrait made to be stored.
We photograph a second we agreed to remember,
a flash of intensity, reflecting our bodies,
and we reveal in a dark room our illusions,
to frame the shadows of figures and fusions.
We photograph a second we agreed to remember,
a flash of intensity, reflecting our bodies,
and as we focus on the moment we’ve always waited for,
in the background, we leave everything else behind.
Time stops when I capture an image of us
(the light, the shadow, blend in time).
