El Rules de Las Tatemas
El Aboytes y Su Carril Izquierdo
The Rules of The Tatemas
I'm gonna tell y'all a bit of the story I lived back in my ranch
Not forgetting about those people who died fighting
13 was heard on those radios tuned to the enemies
Those years when war came, Tatemas was the target
They know well they didn't catch them so easily even though money was short
Because we united like a family and faced it head-on
There were times we had little ammo but we never backed down
Support and resources were lacking but we had plenty of guts
I remember well that coyote creek where they killed my woman
I don't know if those beatings were meant for me
Or if it was to hurt me
Since then, my son and I have been through a rough patch
We spent days and nights with the insurance down
For a woman, I never stopped even if there were problems
With money or without money, I kept them, they were my whole life
I left a mark in this world, several children remind me day and night
And to my parents, forgive me for being the disobedient son
I left but there you can see the dust from two or three trucks
Don't think Tatemas is alone, my people are still in the fight
The folks keep taking care of their land, their chests don't back down
Number 27 navigates them through shacks and trails
I bid farewell, let's go, Compa Palomas, another world awaits us
I was Rules, the one who defended his land and didn't back down
I leave you the reins of my horse along with my blonde grips
With pride, wherever I am, I'll be shouting 'up with Tatemas'
