Letters to the Poets
Lerele lelelele lele
lelele lele letter to the poets
my life behind a pen
and behind my pen
a letter (x2)
If I don't sleep, I look at the sky
if I don't dream, I wake up,
today I bought myself a path
with desert sands,
today I dressed the moon
with the braids of your hair
and through an olive
I have undressed your body.
Poets of Spain,
there was no rhyme in the world
that could not tame an untamed beast,
if my love doesn't want me today, tomorrow she will.
Poets of Spain, tomorrow she will want me.

A woman who sold flowers
tried to sell me a rose
while I despised them
because they are very poisonous,
they serve to say I love you
but time destroys them
and true affection is neither sold nor bought.
Poets of Spain,
there was no rhyme in the world
that could not tame an untamed beast,
if my love doesn't want me today, tomorrow she will.
Little poetess of Spain, tomorrow she will want me.
