El Preso
El Komander
The Inmate
Of course I'm offended,
Of course I bring anger,
And betrayals hurt,
And slights hurt,
And if now I'm a prisoner and my skin is in danger,
It's because I don't back down.
When power is by your side,
You have plenty of friends,
Lots of affection, lots of hugs,
Lots of money in your pocket,
But when the ship sinks and your luck clouds over,
Friends abandon you.
They blocked my life with bars,
Covered my time and I can't find a way out,
My face is very worn out
And time is eternal being locked up here,
If prison doesn't tame me,
I'll come out more violent seeking revenge,
With the years they gave me to use my brain,
I have more than enough.
I know perfectly well,
What has happened out there, I heard they backstabbed each other,
That they humiliated my family,
Impotence consumes me, there's fire in my veins,
For the damage they caused,
Poor mother of mine, how she cried for her son,
Beware of the enemy,
But even more of your friends because when the water is calm and trust is built,
Even the most loyal turn their backs.
This world takes more than one turn, what goes up must come down and soon it returns,
If stones are rolling, maybe one day you'll find the one you kicked,
I'm a prisoner and I understand it,
Maybe one day I'll come out as a new man,
But I hold onto my grudges, I have plenty of reasons,
To fuel the fire.
