The Revolutionary
Never never, never in life
Even as the years go by
The story will not stop being told
Of that young revolutionary
Who bravely fought the battle
Ending on the cross of Calvary
He fought relentlessly and unarmed
For defense, he carried his word
Valiant, he always went forward
Never turned his back on the enemy
Crowning himself King of Kings
On that glorious morning
As a child, he was greatly admired
And as an adult, respected as well
He commands the winds
And the seas obey his voice
He fears neither death itself
Be it dominions or powers
The poor were his friends
And the kings were his adversaries
He spent nights in the mountains
Returning to his people in tears
He was the desired one of all the good
The scourge of all the evil
John, the beloved apostle, said
Referring to him in his commentary
That not even in all the books of the world
Could his past be deciphered
For many were the feats
Of that young revolutionary
