No! To remain and pass by
Is not to endure, is not to exist
Nor to honor life!
There are so many ways of not being,
So much consciousness without knowing
Numb
To deserve life is not to be silent and consent,
So many repeated injustices...
It's a virtue, it's dignity!
And it's the most defined identity attitude!
To last and pass by
Doesn't give us the right to boast.
Because it's not the same as living
Honoring life!
No! To remain and pass by
Doesn't always suggest
Honoring life!
There's so much petty vanity,
In our foolish humanity
Blinded
To deserve life is to stand up vertically,
Beyond evil, beyond falls...
It's the same as giving truth,
And our own freedom
The welcome!
To last and pass by
Doesn't give us the right to boast.
Because it's not the same as living
