Adoration of the Trinity
They are three, in one, distinct but equal
It's breath, it's blood, it's fire, what one says all do
One throne, one government, one scepter, one heaven, one decree
Three thoughts in one ideal, one unity, three hearts
One asks, one groans, one operates and all three rejoice
One forgives and justifies, the other confirms and saves
The third fills the believer with a grace so latent
That it's the fire that covers and purifies every believer
It's the Father, it's the Son, it's the Spirit that burns the heart
The pierced hands, that when they touch, heal the sick in anointing
Heaven opens and the veil is torn, honey drips
All hidden mysteries pouring over the anointed
Heaven descended, with glory invading this place
I hear trumpets, the earth trembles, I see Sinai smoking
A holy fire comes burning, shaking our
Soul, makes you want to fly
When the Seraphim say Holy, Holy, Holy
It's an expression of worship for each one
God the Father, God the Son, God the Spirit
The presence of the living God, in three manifestations
