If they met the boy
Playing in Jerusalem, maybe they wouldn't
Recognize the creator of the stars
If they spoke to the boy, in the temple
Of Jerusalem, they wouldn't discover that
His words made the world exist
If they met that man
At the pool of Bethesda, they wouldn't know
That his waters filled the seas
Or heard his cry, his weeping in Gethsemane, they wouldn't recognize the tears
Of a King
On that cross, that Man
That God, that King, that Father
On that cross, that blood, opened the doors
Broke the yoke, conquered death, but didn't
See where He passed, but didn't
Recognize when on the cross, He tore
But heaven will open, in glory will arise
The servant who was King, with power will come
Knees will bow, fall to the ground
But I will rise, run to
His embrace, thank the cross, say
How loved my Jesus is, Jesus
Hallelujah, what a celestial day
Hallelujah, all, all men will confess
Hallelujah, it will be the song in a great choir
Hallelujah, to the Celestial King
On that cross, that Man
That God, that King, that Father
On that cross, that blood, opened the
Doors, broke the yoke, conquered death
On that cross, that Man
That God, that King, that Father
On that cross, that blood, opened the
Doors, broke the yoke, conquered death
But heaven will open, in glory will arise
The servant who was King, with power will come
Knees will bow, fall to the ground
But I will rise, run to
His embrace, thank the cross, say
How loved my Jesus is, Jesus
Who believed his preaching
When he cried out on Earth, the most
Rejected among men, they made
No case of him, he was wounded for our
Transgressions, for our iniquities
Afflicted, but did not open his mouth, like
A silent lamb without complaint, the deep
And the hidden will be revealed, on a Throne
They will see and recognize, and all his reign
And his gods, on Earth will confess to Jesus
As the lion they will hear roar, and his angels
Will announce the end of evil, but the church will be
Guarded with washed robes, on the celestial day
But heaven will open, in glory will arise
The servant who was King, with power will come
Knees will bow, fall to the ground
But I will rise, run to
His embrace, thank the cross, say
How loved my Jesus is, Jesus
What a celestial day
