Horizons

For a long time I've been walking
In the streets of a not very cheerful port
And yet
It brings me charms
And a sunset translates me into verses
To follow freely many paths
Plowing lands, tasting wines
To have ideas of freedom
To see love in all ages
I was born crying, windmills
Climbing on the tram, running down
The good slingshot of guava tree
Playing marbles, jumping over bonfires
Sixty-four, sixty-six, sixty-eight maybe bad weather
The seventies didn't work for you
And in the eighties I won't get lost out there
I won't get lost out there
I won't get lost out there
I won't get lost out there
