O Preço da Chamada

The Price of the Call
Those who are called do not always dwell in palaces
Sometimes they go to take care of sheep in the desert
Those who are called, sometimes thresh wheat in the winepress
They seek friends and have no one nearby
Those who are called, sometimes face the giant
And it's no use to borrow weapons
Many times all that's left is a sling and a stone
And trust in a God who never fails
Those who are called, sometimes face Mount Carmel
They challenge to see fire come down from heaven
Those who are called, sometimes go to live by the brook
To feel up close the care of a faithful God
Those who are called do not retreat even when the walls are high
They believe that with one more lap, the wall will fall
Those who are called, sometimes have to face the Red Sea
But look at the people and say: The order is to march
Those who are called, sometimes have to leave their family
And go to a land they do not know where it is
Those who are called, sometimes have to climb Mount Moriah
Go through the test and see God approve their faith
God's call comes with suffering
Losses, struggles, and lament
But victory is guaranteed for those who endure
Wherever you step, be sure, God will bless
Rise against whoever wants to rise
But they will fall, because the call is from God
Face the lion, defeat the giant
God will confirm your ministry here
Believe that in this desert, rivers will emerge
It was God who called you, it was God who chose you
He equipped you and also filled you
And there's no escaping this mission
God chose you
