My mission is to help others,
I'm the clown
and maybe it's God's will
that has granted me this gift.
And I must make them laugh,
even when my heart cries.
There's nothing more beautiful in the world
than seeing a child smile.
I'm not like the others,
I'm the clown
if I feel hungry, I can't complain,
because I'm the clown.
And I can't cry
if I lose one of my own
or accompany them on their final journey.
My work can't wait.
And there's nothing better
than returning to the ring once more.
My excitement is so great
that I can't say goodbye.
The circus is my life, the circus is me.
