A Fidelidade de Jó

Job's Faithfulness
Job always worshipped God
And everything he had prospered, his wealth was great
Job always honored God
But the cunning enemy came to speak to God like this
It's easy to worship, having cattle and lands
It's easy to worship, having a flock of sheep
It's easy to worship, having a beautiful family
Having everything you desire
That's when Satan proposed to God like this
Let me touch his possessions and we'll see what happens
When he becomes nothing
I guarantee you this man will never worship you
Job was humiliated, thrown to the dust
But he worshipped God
Even in the valley, being tested, he didn't stop worshipping
His wife said to him
Curse God and die
Put an end to this story once and for all
Are you speaking like a fool, woman?
I curse the day I was born
But I will worship the Lord until the end
Job worshipped, passed the test
God restored double what he had lost
It's the same with you, the enemy's plan
Is to show that in the midst of the trial you betray God
Just worship, just praise
In the midst of the storm, the Lord sees you
Today He enters this valley to exalt you
