A Muralha

(Go Joshua, God is for you!)
(Go Joshua, the wall will fall!)

Be strong and of good courage, Joshua
Do not be amazed or dismayed
For God is with you, go forward

When God promises, He fulfills, His word is faithful
If it's Jericho the land, you will enter, the target is yours
Just fight and lead the people in the direction of God
Anyone who is rebellious will not enter, but will die
But those who are faithful until the end will reach there
Our God will give the land and rest, and so it happened

Joshua confident in what God told him
Sent two spies to Jericho
They saw the land very good and Rahab helped them there
And they returned more strengthened in the Lord's Promise
And said to Joshua: The land is in our hands
Inhabitants are faint before us already!
That's how it is when God wants
If Jericho is the target, God will deliver you by Faith

Arriving, in front a present obstacle
Walled, protected, well guarded
And the promised land for the Israelites
Persist or perish? And now what to do?
It was impossible to enter, but the order is from God
Seven days to surround and the miracle comes from heaven
Every battle is a strategy
Every story is a surprise
There is no formula for God, His work is different

Recitation:
The Lord then said to Joshua: Go around the city
All you fighters, once a day
You shall do this for six days
And seven priests shall carry seven trumpets before the ark
On the seventh day, you shall march around the city seven times
And the priests shall blow the trumpets
And when you hear the long blast of the trumpet
All the people shall shout with a great shout
And the walls of the city shall fall!

And on the seventh day, Israel marched around the wall
Six times and the hour arrived
All the people were already prepared
It is on the seventh round that the Miracle will happen
Priests prepare the trumpets and the ground will start to tremble
Joshua commands, and the people shouted loudly
The trumpets echoed their sound
And the wall then collapsed!

And the wall fell, fell, fell, fell, fell!
Jericho God has already delivered us!
There is no wall when God wants to act for His people!
Providence He sends from heaven, for His people to triumph here!
And Sing and Win and Say: Only the Lord is God!
