The Deliverance
There goes Moses, to free the people of Israel
Who were imprisoned in Egypt
There goes Moses, in obedience to everything
That the Lord had commanded him
There goes Moses, going to face the feared enemy Pharaoh
But Moses was accompanied
By the God, who is the greatest
Arriving there, Pharaoh did not let them go
God hardened the king's heart
Not letting the people leave
God sent plagues upon the men
Upon the animals, upon Egypt
But upon the people of Israel there was nothing
For they were protected
But Pharaoh could not resist God
And freed everyone
And all the people of Israel
Left Egypt victorious
However, the king regretted freeing them
And pursued them, to capture them
Israel was in front of the sea
Not knowing what to do
The people of Israel, seeing that situation
Began to murmur and said
Moses, were there no graves in Egypt?
To take us out of there?
And die in this desert?
Moses, knowing the God he served
Replied to the people saying
Be still, be calm
And see the deliverance that the Lord will give
God is speaking with Moses
And with the staff He commands to touch the sea
And He orders all the people to march
It was the sea parting
And the people marching
It was the wall of water
Surrounding Israel
It was the sea parting
And Israel winning
And the Almighty in control giving deliverance
Pharaoh was behind in pursuit
But ahead was God giving protection
Israel passed unharmed and Pharaoh died
All the people sang like this
Only the Lord is God
Only the Lord is God, only the Lord is God
He is the God of deliverance
He is the God who blows the wind
Only the Lord is God
He is God, He is God, He is God, He is God
He is the God who tests
He is the God who gives victory
Only the Lord is God
Only the Lord is God, only the Lord is God
He is the God of deliverance
He is the God who blows the wind
Only the Lord is God
He is God, He is God, He is God, He is God
He is the God who tests
He is the God who gives victory
Only the Lord is God
Only the Lord is God
