In My Time
Martha and Mary sent a message saying to Jesus: Lazarus is sick
That friend you love so much urgently needs your attention!
But Jesus tells the messenger, you go first, I’ll come later
And in the meantime, Martha and Mary waiting, no sign of Jesus
Suddenly there's a commotion, both crying and lamenting
For tragedy has struck
Lazarus has died, and no sign of Jesus
Everyone crying, and Jesus hasn’t arrived, preparing the body, and Jesus hasn’t arrived
Wrapping him up, and Jesus hasn’t arrived
The tomb is ready, and Jesus hasn’t arrived
The procession is ready, and Jesus hasn’t arrived
The grave is ready, and Jesus hasn’t arrived
The farewell is here, and Jesus hasn’t arrived
They rolled the stone, and Jesus hasn’t arrived
Only after four days of pain and agony
Does Jesus decide to show up at the place
But Martha and Mary, not understanding, said
If you had been here, he wouldn’t have died
And Jesus says: Martha
In a voice so calm
Your brother I will raise up
For I perform miracles when I want
Roll away the stone, and I will act
I will come in my time
It’s not like you thought, it’s my time
But when I arrive, I will blow my wind and make the impossible happen
You, my glory, will see
I will perform miracles
I will come and calm the storm
I will heal, resurrect, just wait
For here no one will die, I am life for you
My child, there’s a secret to having victory
Roll away the stone of disbelief now, for I am a miracle, I will act in yours
Roll away the stone, and I heal, I free, I cure, I work
I give life, restore, control and calm, I enter the battle, I am
Freedom
I break shame, I break spears, I cut bows
For your problem, my child, I am the way out
And in response, I say: I am life!
Just believe, I am who I am
