Stating that nothing would work
He was simply working
On the reconstruction of the city walls
The wicked Sanballat and Tobiah watched from afar day and night
And sat in the audience of the opposition
In secret, they wished for evil, but Nehemiah kept working

This won't work, it will fall
It will lead to nothing, it's better to give up
Many rooting against but Nehemiah kept working
A threat here, a murmur there
Holding meetings, planning to stop, preparing strategies
But Nehemiah didn't stop working

Sometimes it's like this, someone wants to persecute
Trying to hinder the one God chose
But those who do this still haven't understood
That God is the one who commands your life

If He commanded, don't stop, if He ordered, proceed
He is the one who cuts the tie and delivers you from the trap
If He spoke, it happens, and no one can stop it
Who is busy with a great work
Cannot stop but must continue
There are walls of fire and angels encamped
He is the one who protects you and cares even for your sleep
Who messes with you forgets they are in danger
Because you have an owner

The one who called you doesn't sleep, is always attentive
Dominates fire, water, and wind
The one who called you is great, greater than the problem
Greater than this fight, greater than the dilemma
There is nothing to fear, for the one who called you
Doesn't know what it is to lose, but always won
Rest your soul because God is in charge of your life

It's God who will act, will fight for you and those who accuse you

He will answer and when He speaks, evil will be silenced
It will have to accept God making you grow
It was God who chose you, you won't stop
