Sete Selos do Apocalipse
Eliã Oliveira
Seven Seals of the Apocalypse
I saw, on the right hand of the One
Who was seated on a great throne
A huge book in hand, all written
It was sealed with seven seals
Everything was closed
But a very strong angel
And very tall, cried out like this
Cried out like this:
Who is worthy to open the book
And break its seven seals?
And John wept!
He wept!
My God
Is there no one?
Who is worthy to open the book
And break its seven seals?
Not in heaven above
Nor under the Earth
A man, who is worthy
To open the book and break its seven seals?
I saw, beside the One
Who was seated
On the great throne
Elders with divine orders
Given by God
Asking:
Who was worthy to open the book
And break its seven seals?
But there was no one, to do this work
There was no one
And John wept!
He wept!
My God
Is there no one?
Who is worthy
To open the book
And break its seven seals?
Not in heaven above
Nor under the Earth
A man, who is worthy
To open the book
And break its seven seals?
John continued
In great song, in great despair
Seeing that vision, with great sadness
He was there
For no one was worthy
To take the book and break
Its seven seals
But one of the elders said to him
Said to him:
John, do not weep anymore
Behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah
The root of David
Who has overcome to open the book
And break its seven seals
The Root of David, God of Israel
Holy of holies, God of nations
General of generals, King of kings
Lord of lords
The Rose of Sharon, The Sun of righteousness
The Lily of the valleys, The Prince of Peace
The Wonderful, The Counselor
He is the Righteous Judge
The Yesterday and The Today
The Alpha, The Omega
The Beginning, The End
Mighty and true God, who Was and Is
And who Lives forever and will always be
The Omniscient, The Omnipotent, The Omnipresent
The Infallible, The Immutable
God with us, Emmanuel
To whom be given, Glory and Honor
Exaltation, Praise and Majesty
Hallelujah and Power, Worship
Forever and ever, amen!
But to whom be given, Glory and Honor
Exaltation, Praise and Majesty
Hallelujah and Power, Worship
Forever and ever, amen!
Forever and ever, amen!
Forever and ever, amen!
