There's a Time
There is a right time for everything under the heavens
There is a time to gain and to smile, to gather, a time to embrace
If there is that time of prosperity, when everything goes well
For the human ego, it's good to succeed in life, prosper, and be successful
But not everything is rosy, there is a day of trouble
And when it comes, I want to see how your faith is
When doors close and friends leave
When pain tightens and the soul cries like a child
But I test those I love, child, try to understand
I allow the desert, for even in pain there is a purpose
Because my plans are greater than yours
Open your ears, listen now to the voice of your God
It's hurting, I know
It's better to test you, hurt you than to lose you
This struggle won't kill you, you won't die
The thorns that hurt make you fall to your knees
To worship me
It's tough, I know, it's in your weakness that my power is revealed
Don't rush, don't be hasty, but wait in me
For the days of your joy are coming
Because I will act
