Su Vida Da
Elias y Patty
His Life Gives
Every morning when the sun rises over the hill
He grabs his axe and machete and his bag
He's his father's partner, a carpenter by trade
Many neighbors who know him talk about him daily
Because this young man is so humble and so different
Mary and Joseph keep quiet about the privilege
That God gave them
His life gives, his life gives
For others
His life gave, his life gave
For you and for me
And on a cross, Jesus died
And as he breathed his last, he said
Father, forgive them, they don't know what they've done
The prophecies are coming true
Your will has been done in me
He had a habit
Of waking up very early
Bringing water, chopping wood
Even as a child
He stood out from his brothers
And from the kids his age
Many friends who know him talk about him daily
Because this young man is so humble and so different
They've realized he only speaks of love and forgiveness
His life gives, his life gives
For others
His life gave, his life gave
For you and for me
And on a cross, Jesus died
And as he breathed his last, he said
Father, forgive them, they don't know what they've done
The prophecies are coming true
Your will has been done in me
His life gives, his life gives for others
His life gave, his life gave for you and for me
