They say life is to suffer
That it's a constant pain
That everything is suffering
That the world only makes you cry
And that happiness is something that doesn't exist
Those who think like that only live to suffer
They live increasingly sad

I live life singing
It's no use crying
I follow with Christ, Christ with me
My walk is sweet

I also know that life
Has its cruel moments
And there are bloody paths
That always hurt my feet
But I also know that it's necessary
To trust more in the Lord
To have peace in this life and also
To be a winner in life

For those who live to suffer
For those who live to cry
There is an excellent path
To live in peace
It's Jesus Christ the way
Of love, tenderness, and peace
And those who live with Jesus the Lord
Will never cry again
