Sofrer Por Jesus

In the world there is so much sadness, so much affliction
Only God, the Sovereign, with His strong hand
Comes to solve my problems
And gives me strength to walk
Always by my side, day by day, until I reach heaven

In this world there are those who persecute believers for speaking about God
But it's lost to persecute the people God has chosen
If today I am suffering, crying
It's because one day Jesus loved me
And for loving me, He never denied me His blood on the cross

Oh, how many suffer, oh, how many die without denying Jesus
Oh, how many cry for God, begging while carrying the cross
If my anguish torments me, stealing my peace
There are so many who endure much more for Jesus

To be persecuted for the love of Christ and keep the faith
Is to fight bravely, raising the flag boldly until death
My life cost a lot, its price, Jesus paid
If I lose it today, I know I will dwell with my Lord

I do not lose heart, for ahead of me goes the General
I do not fear death, for I will receive from God the reward
God is with me, I will overcome
In heaven with Christ I will sing
No more sorrow, eternally I will be happy
