Vale a pena ser fiel
Elisama
It's Worth It to Be Faithful
I know what a desert is and what a test means
What a valley is and what a grave is
I also know what it is to feel God's hand
I know what it’s like to walk through the fire, face a battle
To be chased just for being faithful
I know the enemy did everything to steal my smile
And the dreams I dreamed.
How many tears to write my story,
But I’ve won victories I’ll never forget
In moments of suffering and pain
My God helped me, and that’s how I made it here
I went through the valley, faced the dungeon
I was even sold by my own brothers
I was whipped, I was humiliated
Betrayed and hurt, I suffered disappointments
I was stoned, I was slandered
But like Stephen, I saw the glory of God
I faced the furnace, I wouldn’t bow to the king
But in the middle of the fire, I found the fourth man
I identify with the marks of Christ
And I carry them in my body as Paul said
It was worth any suffering
If I have to do it again, I’ll face it for the Lord's cause
Recitation: I don’t regret the things I did to be faithful to my Lord,
I don’t regret the tears I shed for love of His work
I don’t regret it, and I won’t give up being faithful to Him no matter the cost
I don’t regret it, and if I have to, I’ll face it all again
It’s worth it to be faithful to God!
I face Ahab, I challenge Baal
I preach the truth, I run from Jezebel
I’m like Elijah, some may not like it
They might even call me "Disturber of Israel"
I’m just another John the Baptist, I won’t accept sin
And I’m not afraid of the backlash
God called me to be a prophet
I don’t hide the truth, I won’t sell out
I know God is with me, I know I’m anointed
I was set apart, I’m a vessel of God
I paid the price to be approved
But today I’m being honored
It’s worth it to be faithful to God
It’s worth it to be faithful, it’s worth it to be faithful
It’s worth it to be faithful, it’s worth it to be faithful
It’s worth it, it’s worth it
It’s worth it to be faithful, it’s worth it to be faithful
