Canción de Agua y Viento
Elizabeth Morris
Song of Water and Wind
I'm walking alone
On a path long forgotten
Looking for traces of another age
Eternal signs buried
On the wings of a hummingbird
I fly singing to the winds
A drop of water is my heart
Traveling in the river of time
To ask for a song
From the serene spring
I bring as an offering quinoa and corn
Silver rays on the new moon
A red cloak that I weaved
And sacred leaves from the earth
To ask for a song
From the serene spring
Under the night, in the darkness
I hear your blue spring song
Whispers sprout to my voice
Your heart beats with mine
The light returns and the dawn
Paints my silence green
I carry another landscape on my skin
And a song of water and wind
