Journey
Oh, sadness, I'm sorry, I'm all packed up
Today poetry came to meet me
The day has broken, let’s hit the road
We’re hitching a ride
On the gentle breeze of the soft wind
That’s been blowing for a long time, from the edge of the sea
Let’s visit the morning star shining
That I thought was lost in the early dawn
But it’s hiding, wanting to play
Sit on this bright cloud, my poetry
Come on, get ready, bring a tune
Let’s spread music in the air
Look at all those white birds, my poetry
Dancing our waltz across the sky that the day
Has stitched with rays of sunlight
Oh, poetry, help me out
I’m going to gather ferns, lilies, roses, dahlias
In the green fields you call the gardens of heaven
But don’t worry, my poetry
We’ll return on a guiding star
In a moonlit glow when it calms down
Or maybe, who knows
We’ll just come back on a dappled horse
On the chestnut of the night whose name is lightning, moonlight lightning
