La Flor
Emily Kaffré
The Flower
In this world, there's a flower
That withered away
From all the light that the Sun gave it
It had no water and couldn't be saved
What a sad love
I confess that I am that flower
You left and abandoned me
Crying in pain
Memories of the past
Still invade me
You tell me that you love me
That you couldn't live without me
But I'm not that dumb
To let you ruin
My life
I just look at you and still can't believe
That I could fall for your sheep's disguise
It suits you so well in this whole story
But you're the wolf bringing suffering
I feel empty as the days go by
I feel frustrated thinking about life
This whole facade bored you already
I was an idiot to think you really cared
You won in your game
Leaving me lost
Not knowing that your promises
Would end up in the trash
Honey, don't blame me
If karma comes for you
Making you pay for everything
Leading you to ruin
In this world, there's a flower
That withered away
I confess that I am that flower
