The Crazy Hen
I know a neighbor
Who bought a hen
That looks like a canned sardine.
She’s got wire legs
'Cause she’s always hungry
And the poor thing is totally plucked.
She lays eggs in the living room
And also in the kitchen
But she never lays them in the coop.
The hen!! crazy!!
Is a real oddball.
The hen!! crazy!!
Is truly out of her mind.
The crazy hen
Laid one egg, laid two, laid three.
The crazy hen
Laid four, laid five, laid six.
The crazy hen
Laid seven, laid eight, laid nine.
Where’s that little hen,
Leave her be, the poor thing, let her lay ten.
