Dónde Habita El Olvido
Enrique Bunbury
Where Oblivion Lives
When he woke up
He didn't remember anything from the night before
Too many beers
He said upon seeing my head next to his on the pillow
And I kissed her again
But it was no longer yesterday but tomorrow
And an insolent Sun
Like a thief entered
Through the window
The day that came
Had purple circles under the eyes and mud on the heel
Naked, but strangers
He saw us broken by the deception of the night
The harsh light of dawn
It was time to flee
And he left without saying: Call me one day
From the balcony I saw her
Getting lost in the hustle and bustle of Gran Vía
And life went on
As things that don't make much sense go on
Once a common friend told me
That he saw her
Where oblivion lives
The pupil stored
A red traffic light, a backpack, a Peugeot
And those nearsighted eyes
And the blood galloping through my veins and a cloud of sand
Inside the heart
And this streak of love, without appetite
The kisses I lost
For not knowing how to say: I need you
And life went on
As things that don't make much sense go on
Once a common friend told me
That he saw her
Where oblivion lives
Where oblivion lives
Where oblivion lives
