El Solitário (Diario de Un Borracho)
Enrique Bunbury
The Lonely One (Diary of a Drunkard)
In my life I have never been happy
The stars illuminate me upside down
Because now I think that if I were to be born again
I would inherit a betrayal and great suffering
And that's why today I would like to drown in liquor
To forget the betrayal of a woman
While I live, I will not stop drinking
Until I find oh! happiness in love
I'm going to write in my diary
That I am wandering the world
Oh! such deep pain
Living sad and lonely
I know nobody loves me
Only with my thoughts
Oh! with so much suffering
Anyone would die like this
If I came to this world it's to suffer
I can't find happiness in a woman
If they kiss me and give me their love
They move away to make me unhappy
I live drinking because liquor is for men
Heartbreak can cause my death
And if the sea turned into liquor
I would drown in it to die drunk
I'm going to write in my diary
That I am wandering the world
Oh! such deep pain
Living sad and lonely
I know nobody loves me
Only with my thoughts
Oh! with so much suffering
Anyone would die like this
