Parecemos Tontos
Enrique Bunbury
We Seem Foolish
With this cold suit in the darkness
In front of an abyss of eleven dimensions
To randomly throw away everything we don't want to carry
Desires as light as promises
A will as light as scarce
And the persistent and impertinent suspicion
Although they always try to disguise
Actions and factions
That don't convince me
And the reflection in the mirror is crazy
All this range of pantomimes
All the laughs all the rhymes
They won't fool us all
Although sometimes we seem foolish
They won't fool us all
Not everyone
In the dark night all the flies come in
And we bathe in the sea so well
Beyond where the eye can't reach
My expectations arrived
A fabric of speculations of theories
In universal gibberish
Water puppets adrift
Dancing on the back of surf waves
They won't fool us all
Although sometimes we seem foolish
They won't fool us all
Not everyone
What noise does
A man who breaks in solitude
What shelter will he find
In the shadow of an ill thought
They try to pluck our wings
As if they were a Las Vegas casino
The rabbit coming out of the hat
Overflowing the cup of disbelief
They won't fool us all
Although sometimes we seem foolish
They won't fool us all
Not everyone
