Al mundo le falta un tornillo

The World is Missing a Screw
Everyone's stuck in the heat,
Sad, bitter, and feeling beat,
Nervous wrecks, feeling low...
The tough guys are all gone,
Even I, who used to be strong,
I've dropped four pounds, you know!
Today there's no cash to be found,
And the stew's piled up so high
You need a trampoline to dive.
There's crisis, fights, and hunger,
Those buying ten pounds of cold cuts
Are eating even the scraps alive.
Today we live in a rush
And sleep in a hurry.
Even Jesus got his
Goat shaved in a flurry...
Today you pawn your best friend,
No one’s treating you to a meal...
Everyone’s on the edge.
The world is missing a screw,
Someone call a mechanic...
What for, man?
To see if he can fix it.
What’s going on?... Oh my God!
The shelves just fell down
Or St. Peter opened the gate.
Creation’s throwing punches,
And in pure chaos,
It’s falling apart without a bed.
The thief is now respectable,
Forced to act like a gent,
But he can’t find someone to rob.
And the honest guy’s turned crook
Because in his saving spree
He’s just trying to stash his loot.
The world is missing a screw,
Someone call a mechanic.
To see if he can fix it.
