So many years that won't come back
I went down the slope so fast

I no longer sing climbing stairs
I feel my legs getting weak
I shoot at winter nights
Today it's the mirror that makes me think

Half life, you're already gone
What memories you leave me
The other half, if I live it

So many traces on my being
And so much is what I've changed
That I'm not the same as yesterday

Many times I've seen on the faces
Of the men who believed in me
This same pitiful sadness
That my eyes have for them too

Half life went away like a dream
