Cidade do Céu

There is a beautiful city in the sky far beyond here
God built it well adorned for his own
There are many rich treasures there
Its wall is of jasper and crystal
The streets and squares are of gold
So pure that there is nothing like it

Around lush green fields
In the middle a river of crystal clear water
On the bank stands the tree of life
There are gardens and a beautiful square

There are twelve gates in this city
An angel at each gate as well
Its length and width
Is its height as well
There is no night or day there
The moon and the sun do not shine there
The light is God himself
His throne is in it
