The Galilean
There in Galilee, far away from here
One day echoed the voice of the Galilean
He was sent to that people
And the rebellious people did not receive Him
This Galilean, so humble and meek
Prophet Isaiah spoke of Him long before
That He would come to bring good news
But His homeland did not accept Him
Holy Galilean, divine Jesus
I heard Your voice and received You
Today I have light
This Galilean came to evangelize
And announce the time of salvation
He came to give sight to the blind
And liberation to the captives
He was the Messiah, they did not believe
Because He was poor and a worker
He had no home for His rest
But He was the Redeemer of humanity
Holy Galilean, divine Jesus
I heard Your voice and received You
Today I have light
