A Parábola do Semeador
Ereni Miranda
The Parable of the Sower
Jesus was sitting by the sea and meditating
Many people gathered around him and listened to him!
Seeing the anxious crowd, like sheep without a shepherd
This beautiful parable, he taught them with love
Behold, a sower, good seed, sowed
Some seeds fell on the path he passed
Hungry birds came to eat the seeds
None of them remained, they did not sprout!
Another part fell on rocky ground, it quickly sprouted
Having no deep root, the scorching sun killed it
Another portion of the seeds, he sowed among thorns
And when they sprouted, they did not grow, the thorns choked them!
The remaining seed finally fell on good soil
It sprouted, quickly grew, produced much fruit
The seed is the gospel, this is the comparison
And the good or bad soil is our heart!
