Las Cosas Que He Visto
Eros Ramazzotti
The Things I've Seen
I've seen people aging very lonely
I've seen kids who don't go to school
I've seen life, a life so tough
thrown in a bag, like simple trash
I've seen the air turning red in seconds
the thirsty earth in various parts of the world
and it hasn't been long since I live, that I exist
but these, I swear, are the things I've seen
I just want
around me
people to be sincere
much further
than our age
ideology or flag
I just want
if we know how to face it
end here
end suddenly
the things I've seen
I've seen the sky darkening in moments
covered in gray by a giant cloud
I've seen the water turning into blood
and entire villages dying of hunger
I just want
around me
the people in charge
know what to do
they seem
lost
I just want
that the future youth
doesn't have to see
on television
the things I've seen
I myself say that the die is cast
we have to fight, leave the good words
if you want it to end, for the horror to end
I think that only
love can do it, love
