Con Gli Occhi Di Un Bambino
Eros Ramazzotti
With the Eyes of a Child
The world seen through the eyes of a child
Is a big circus
On a bright sunny day
And that's how I see you
With that same intensity
And a face lit up with curiosity
And I remember a magical Christmas
The new toy
That I almost didn’t want to touch
And that's how I see you
And with the same wonder
I’ve opened up my
Gaze upon you
I, you know, don’t talk much
But my eyes, my face
Say the things no voice can explain
If you understand me, you know me
And you’ll find me better
In my endless solitude
If I want to hide a bit
To stretch out
Golden hair flowed every morning
And I had inside
A thunder I’d never felt before
And that's how I feel you
With that identical poetry
With that innocence
That’s still a little mine
I, you know, don’t talk much
I, if anything, if you want, I’ll listen
Tell me the words that go along with my silences
If I understand, I know you
And I’ll know how to find you when
I resurface from my deep solitude
For a moment
A moment
If you understand me, you already know me
And you’ll find me better
In my endless solitude
If I want to hide a bit
To stretch out
To protect myself
