Piedra Pequeña
Eros Ramazzotti
Little Stone
He arrived in wartime,
From the waves touching the land
And he also disembarked his humanity.
She saw his deep eyes of someone who lives dreaming
Of another world and she fell in love with him.
She felt very close to heaven and rising without wings in flight,
Because he finally gave her his hand.
That night she wet her happiness with sweetest tears
That she let sink in the sea and unite with the salt.
Yes, he would say like this: 'You are my love
and I will give you all my life'.
And he would reply:
'I have a little stone here
To build peace where there is none and so,
I will take it wherever it takes me
This immense hope that will not abandon me.
I will take it even though I know it will weigh,
Little stone maybe one day it will settle'.
He left because his path was the wind
That follows destiny
And he left with a broken heart without her.
That night the breath she released reached the sky,
Like a scream that opens returning his name.
Little stone... will settle
