Bambino Nel Tempo
Eros Ramazzotti
Child in Time
As I gaze at the sea, my thoughts drift
to the latitude of another age,
when I believed in fairy tales,
always with my head in the clouds,
dreams and desires became reality
within the book of fantasy.
It was the season of life when there was no melancholy.
Now in this time of restlessness,
I feel that we can no longer deceive ourselves.
Despite everything, a bit of naivety remains,
inside, hope still exists,
like back then, I want to always ask myself why
and I paint the world around me in my own way,
like a child in time who never loses
his curiosity,
it's instinct that makes me fly away from here.
A child in time never gives up,
seeking happiness.
Breathing in the salty air,
solitude keeps me company.
This place seemed magical to me
in the memory of when I was little.
Like back then, I search for an answer that isn't there
and I don't know what difference it makes:
to stay still and wait or to go away from here.
And I paint the world around me in my own way.
Like a child in time who never loses
his curiosity,
it's instinct that makes me change reality.
A child in time never gives up,
but seeks happiness
and forever invisible and true
this part of me will remain...
And I paint the world around me in my own way,
a child in time never gives up,
but seeks happiness.
